Join us for a fun, mostly demo class with Jyoti Mukharji, together with her son and cookbook co-writer, Auyon, as they cook, storytell, and share their passion for Indian food. The menu will include a variety of chaat dishes from their book. This will be a friendly conversation, like sitting at the counter in a friend's kitchen, chatting, asking questions, while Jyoti and Auyon give opinions on things like "The Great Curry Debate" and using frozen vegetables. And for cookbook enthusiasts, they'll also share snippets of what they've learned on their book-writing journey. Just like their incredibly charming cookbook, the evening will be peppered with wit, knowledge, and most of all—delectable chaat-style dishes. This gathering celebrates Indian cuisine and the American immigrant experience
