Are you looking for an original holiday gift idea? How about making one! Join us for an afternoon of learning and dyeing with D’Arcy Jensen, founder of Guilded Goods, a lifestyle brand that creates naturally-dyed sustainable goods. In this two-and-a-half-hour hands-on workshop you’ll be introduced to the process of of dyeing fabric with natural plants and learn 6 different basic Shibori techniques.
D’Arcy will also cover the fundamentals of fiber properties, and the necessary materials needed to properly bond colors to fibers.
Using plant dyes made from food scraps and various Shibori techniques, the ancient Japanese art of resist dyeing commonly known as “tie-dye,” you will create your own one-of-a-kind set of 6 dinner napkins, which make the perfect holiday gift!
D'Arcy Jensen has a BFA in Textile Design and has been workimg in NYC's fashion industry for over 20 years. She is the founder and Creative Director of Guilded Goods.

Natural Dyes Shibori Workshop
Price includes instruction, 6 dinner napkins and materials to dye them plus light afternoon noshes. All guests are required to show proof of vaccination and be masked during class.
